A repair job on my Fitbit Charge HR

A friend asked me the other day how old my Fitbit was as it looked brand new. When I told him it was a few years old, he was surprised as he didn’t know anyone that had one that lasted more than a year without the band bubbling. I explained I had replaced the band recently and he asked how it was done, so I thought it might be useful for others with the same problems.
Here is the link for the replacement band, it took about 3 weeks to arrive.
Here is the youtube video I used to fix it, obviously there are many others!
When you are putting the screws back in, don’t over-tighten them as it may crack the plastic casing(I did).
Also, I would not rely on the Fitbit being as waterproof as it once was. 🙂
