Scotland Driveby Day 8

Today was not so much a driveby, more of a walk. I drove the Camper back to the Airport , I have done exactly 800 miles since I picked it up a week ago, thankfully without incident and then caught a bus back into Waverley where I wandered up to my accommodation for the night and dropped off my suitcase so I could walk around town relatively unhampered (I didn’t dare leave my laptop unattended in their store room)

I decided on a smaller day in terms of walking, so headed to the nearby Parliament Building for a look. An interesting building with a short history of its own. I then headed for the station to pickup my train tickets for tomorrow to Carlisle and then St Bees. I think I am about as ready as I can be for this 300Km Walk, I will know for sure in a few days.

PS, the people in the last photo would not leave, so I just took the pic with them in it.
