Lancrigg to Patterdale (13.85km)
Today, although a little longer than yesterday was a little easier and also took us a fraction less time to complete. The trail from Lancrigg involved some flat walking to start, followed by quite a bit of uphill. We headed up via “Little Tounge” to our first major viewpoint of the morning at “Hause Riggs” and up onto our peak for the day at “Hause Gap”. We then started our slow steady decent towards Patterdale via Griesdale Tarn and Brothers Parting Stone before finally arriving in town at just before 4pm.
