Day 9, 28km today, not the originally intended 17km, but a bad forecast for today and tomorrow so we made quick decision to do today’s 17 and also part of tomorrow’s walk which would get us to Broken Dam Hut and a wonderful fireplace to warm us up. 28km later and we arrived. The early weather was terrible but it fined up to become a reasonable day and we relaxed by the fire once we had collected water and wood.
